As long as the Baby-seal-fur interior - part wasn't true, would be nice to see another one of these Scrooge McDuck cars on the market.

Scrooge McDuck! You're killing me!

Looks like this guy is fishing for some chumps to toss him some seed money. For the sake of all involved, let's hope these crummy renderings are as far as this project goes.

I agree with Alex on this one. It looks 'ok' for a vehicle which is built to grab attention by the handful. I certaintly ain't saying it's got character like a Phantom... or the understated luxury of a Maybach.... but it's sheer size, stance and design are enough to label it 'ok' for its intended market.

Also.. YES, the Cadi' 16 is exactly what came to mind when seeing this thing... except that the Cadillac looks a whole class better because it has a simple design theme... whereas this car is mixed between being having dynamic lines and having soft curves ... as well as being a 'look at me' design, but still giving off that understated look (as can be seen with the totally out of place side-gills..and the eccentric and over-done grille).

Some advice to the designers. Get ride of the diagonal side-gills and opt for something similar to the Maserati Quattroporte-type gilles. The front grille.... that style has to go. The vertical bars are way too thick! Either thin the bars.. or just have vertical cars (ala Maybach, RR and Bentley).
The happy-chappy mouth needs to be a little less "hi there, my name is..." and a little more "Hi, ..the name's.."

Now as for that 1,200hp engine..... now we're talkin!! Just tell ur chauffeur "Go catch up to that Veyron!"

Well my opinion on it's design is not so forgiving as Alex's.

To be honest, I think it is a very naive and amateurish design. I can't imagine why on earth anybody would buy this crass and stupid vehicle.

DiMora Motorcar?? I've never heard of 'em. If this thing has no history behind like Rolls Royce and Maybach, then I don't think it has a place in this market.

And it does look like the Cadillac 16.

Re: Think Bigger: The Super Luxury DiMora Natalia SLS2

I think I have achieved the impossible. I found a car even uglier than the DiMora Natalia SLS2.

It's a concept car by Castagna shown at Geneva this year. I love the old cars built by Castagna in the 1930's. There is a Mercedes 770K built by them that would rate as one of my all-time favourite cars ....but this thing is an insult to the Castagna name.

The Castagna Imperial Landaulet.

Its almost 6 metres of length have been ''dressed'' in an angular and slightly retro body that is something between a coupé and an MPV. It has numerous edges, surfaces and components that allow total customisation and colouration of its plumage. The interior of the passenger cab is easily accessible through the two doors that open like a book and have no central column: a running board appears automatically, acting as a footrest. The vehicle’s height (163cm) and its ground clearance make access to the vehicle both easy and ergonomic: one does not feel as if one has to ''climb'' in or out of this vehicle.

One Croatian web site says (today) that the car will be produced from 2008 on, in 50 units per year and it'll cost around 2 million €...

It says that the car will have 16 cyl, 1200hp and the colour wich changes depending on outside temperature (already seen by Matchbox, 10 years ago.... LOOOOOOOLLLLLLL!...
