Just not there yet....

I preffer Ferrari's over the Lambo's Murc Roadster is a CLOSE second
The F430 is a killer car right now but if you don't have 150k+ to spend on a car it is better to wait until the F430 hype decreases along with the price.

Re: The best exotic to purchase

Alright its winding down....

Here's the decision making process...

We are going into winter and i dont need a car to sit in the garage and drop $20K in payments for it to sit there....

Since im really bored i need somehting NOW. Therefore im picking up something that will last me through the season, and something i can drive and enjoy on a fairly daily basis....

I could always sell and pick up something else up in February or come spring time and not get killed on depreciation....

Worked the approval today... Its going to be a 2005 Bentley Continental GT, i have 30 days to find the car, before approval expires. Currently car is roughly $138K at the cheapest with low mileage, if you can find one. A little tweak and were talking over 612hp. Already discussed upgrade and its no problem to do!

Will start looking for car NOW! Got appt's Wed, and several wholesalers locating car for me as well! Next exotic auction is Sept.7th. If all else fails i will go to auction and get one myself.

Thanks for all your help guys and words! This is just the most sensible choice going into Winter.

PS> The Aston guy never got back too me... I called twice, im not sweating him.

Yepp, some of us probably forgot about the fact that you live in NY. With snow and salt on the ground there is no way you can enjoy a Gallardo and push it the way you like to without risking your wallet and life! The Bentley GT is probably the best winter car in the bunch, though the DB9 isn't a bad choice either since it isn't as heavy as the Bentley. So what colour combo do you prefer?

Thanks Luw, 450hp on the DB9 they want close to $140K and the cars still keeps dropping! Last auction a 2003 Vanquish with 15K miles on it, went for $115K. Where would i be with my DB9 in a year from now? Nonetheless its my best overall choice, i feel the Bentley GT. As for combo's there are SO MANY STUNNING ones. Im trying to stay with Beluga interior (Black) since it doesn't show much wear, but im really open to quite a few, would really love white/beluga Mulliner. Actually i have an appt Wed. to see this specific car . I think this combo is really hot! IMO! Of course! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Bentley-Cont-GT-Mull-05-Continental-GT-Mulliner-Dark-Sapphire-Saffron_W0QQitemZ200020271495QQihZ010QQcategoryZ61 18QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Re: The best exotic to purchase

Congratulations AlxAmg. Welcome to the VAG family.

BTW, pricing is just so weird, because the F430 is priced cheaper than the Gallardo here.
