Ok, cool. Maybe they will bring in the Japanese Odyssey as something else, considering how well it's doing here. Though with a bigger engine? Oh well, just speculating..
Anyhow, waiting for the new C-class might be good, at least then you'll have one more point of comparison, or at least one more factor that will help BMW dealers to reduce prices. The IS might have been good, but I suppose you've gone off that now. (I had a chance to sit in one at the Sydney Show, quite nice, but it is a little cramped in the back, about as much as the E46 3er. I was a bit annoyed because one of the Lexus hostesses kicked me out because she wanted to "show someone one of the features"; maybe she thought I was just having pictures taken in it - well, I was, but I was also seeing if the car was nice.)
A 335i would be great, depending on what the drive is like. Doubt it'll be cheap though. A 330i sounds pretty fine, too!

LOL

Luckily for me my girlfriend doesn't tease me! Though maybe she doesn't know the extent of my posting here

How's your wife coping with having to speak English all the time now anyway? That must make a nice change for you though, to be back in your native language country.
