Knowing the kind of gritty, ridiculous detail we all love to nit-pick about, I grabbed my camera and took the kind of detail shots I thought you'd all enjoy. Unfortunately, my camera's battery was on its last leg, so I just had to wing it. Anyways, enjoy: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Oh and btw, what do you think about headlights of this car? Imo, they're somehow ugly...I think they're the only problem on this car as far as the design is concerned. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: My Jag XK Photos Very nice pictures, the car looks very good in black! I saw my first XK cab on the road the other day, it was gold with a beige hood and looked very nice! In your pictures the xk looks very nice in black, although I don't like that wood for the interior! When you drove the car, what did you think of it? Do you think this could be a break through car for Jaguar and bring it out of the red? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: My Jag XK Photos In a nutshell - Those who are looking for a particular Jag-type experience will find much to love in the XJ. Of course, this is a very subjective thing, but I believe the car delivers in areas that matter to its target audience. Pushing aside the details there's 4, maybe 5 things that left an impression on me: 1 - From the rear and rear 3/4 the car looks like a bona-fide exotic. 2 - When I sat down in the car the immediate sensation was idential to the Aston Martin DB9 I drove a while back. It was so jarring I broke into hysterics, but once you get acclimated it's pretty fun. Inside the cabin you'll never forget that you're driving a big British Coupe. 3 - When you slide the lever into "S" and floor it, the car comes alive with a particular note that sounds exactly the way a British coupe sounds in your imagination. Go ahead... make some James Bond'esque "vroom, vroom" sounds. You get the picture. 4 - I expected the car to feel a bit porky but was plesantly surprised. 5 - The vanity mirrors were better than the DB9's. So how does this car stack up against the 6er, or the CLS? Really, it doesn't matter. There's a built-in audience for this kind of vehicle and Jag's made this car distinctive enough to pull at your heartstrings. To me it's not a car that begs your informed analysis much as it begs your gut reaction. |

Though I'm sure Jaguar would have given it their 110%. I'm pleased with Osna's comments, it sure seems to fulfill Jag's agenda pretty well. ![]()

![]() | Re: My Jag XK Photos Not bad. The panels certainly seem to have a nice enough fit - seen in the way the reflections don't change 'concavity' from one panel to the next. I'm still a little unamused by the 'bullseye' rear lights and the teardrop front lights, but I'll let that go. Take it or leave it. Otherwise, is the plastic around the place, such as doors, and especially around the centre controls, of a decent quality? That doesn't make a hollow sound when you run your fingernails across it? Plus, the red Start/Stop button looks a bit out of place.. |
