| We're getting a 2006 A4! -

Well, my dad finally decided what car he's buying for his next, and it's a 2006 Audi A4 2.0T Tiptronic quattro. The dealer has two that are nicely discounted (demo models) and fairly nicely optioned, too. They're "light silver and dark silver" (dealer quote from e-mail right there) and Dad's gonna take whichever has lower miles. I really hope one of them is Dolphin Grey, because I like that better than the other greys. Comes with XM (but not Bose, I believe), sunroof, heated leather, and 17 inch alloys, according to my father. I'll get pictures of it as soon as I get home, as well as my review of the car. If you have any info on what we should be getting package wise, I'll love to hear it, because I was pushing him toward the Bimmer, and didn't research enough on the A4.
But man, I can't wait to drive it!

Great! You won't regret it. The built quality of Audi is second to none in the auto industry and the 2.0 TFSI engine is the best production 4 Cyl engine right now. | | | | | Connoisseur

Good choice. My mom just purchased a red 06 A4 2.0T 6speed a little over a month ago and she loves it. | | | | | Aficionado

Good choice!
I'm trying to get my father to buy an A4, so hopefully you write a good review on the car! | | | | | Advocate

Oh, confirmation today: Quartz Grey Metallic. | | | | | Fanatic

Yeah, I think it's the same VW group 2.0TFSI engine. Good one!
Hope you guys enjoy the car - not only should it be faster than his Jeep, it should handle a fair whack better as well. Your dad could become addicted to driving it.
Congrats! | | | | | Advocate

Argh. Jealousy is coursing through my veins right now, I love the A4, especially when hooked up to that sublime 2.0T FSI engine and with Quattro. My dad and I tested one a while ago, and it's a brilliant car.
Congratulations!
BTW, do you know if it has the S-Line package? | | | | | Devotee

It has 200HP, 0-100 km/h is pretty good - 7,3 (that's for an ordinary 2.0, Quattro is even better), max. speed is 241 km/h, economy: 7,7 l/100km...Can you talk your dad into buying RS4/S4 wheels?? That would be awesome. If not try to get 5 spoke aluminium wheels, they also look nice.
I mean on these:
BTW, I just found a review about 2.0 T Quattro: - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
