Yellow Porsche Carrera GT...I'm simply in love with this car, it's gorgeous IMO.
As for the past, hmm...
MB 300SL
Shelby Cobra
Lamborghini Miura Jota
Porsche 959
Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale
Bugatti Type 35 Sport

I can't decide....
Potential mechanical issues aside, the Bugatti Veyron would probably be way up there for a daily driver (comfort and speed with no luggage space, haha). The Porsche Carrera GT is certainly a supreme car as well, especially with the option of having the top off. I'm guessing it's a real bitch in traffic with that transmission setup, though. I certainly can't go without mentioning the Ruf RT12 though, either.
I have to give my credit to a Japanese car that I've had a love affair with (before it was cool for everyone to like it). I'd gladly take a Nissan Skyline R34 GTR M-spec Nür or one of the special Nismo refurbished ones (Nismo Skyline GT-R Z tune) as well even if it isn't quite on the level of the Carrera GT.
But mainly Pagani Zonda F CS, McLaren F1 LM, Carrera GT, Veyron and pretty much every Lamborghini model ever made, several Mercs, some classics, some american. Ah ***, I'll make a complete list one day. But if I ever were rich enough to buy all my dreamcars I would have enough money to make my own cars and in that case do so instead of buying cars.
Probably narrow it down to a Porsche 911 Turbo 997 or GT2, an SL63 AMG or an E63 AMG....the E-Class because I want to fit more than 1 passenger comfortably....maybe all these things could be rectafied if a Porsche Panamera looks awesome enough and has a nice interior...we'll see...
If we talk about past cars my all time favorite is the S-class(w140). I loved this car when I was 10-15 years old and it is even today my all time favorite Benz. Additionally I think that it is image wise the strongest car MB has built and was also a luxury icon during the 90s.
My dream car has to be luxurious to the max, so ANY of the S600's will do just fine for me if I had to choose one. Either a W220 or W221 S600, already own a W140 S600

The W140 S-Class is also the car that started my love affair with Mercedes-Benz back in 1992. I couldn`t keep my eyes off of it back in the day. It came in a flyer in one of my parents magazines.
