Yearlies anyone? - 04-15-2006, 08:15 PM

At the begninning of each year means a new year for new cars and new car launches, not to mention new thoughts, ideas and opinions. I wanted to ask you guys if you wanted to do threads about once a year for certain automotive topics that we(GCZ memebers) could voice our thoughts in, for instance a "GCZ German car of the year award" where we name cars in different classes and do a poll from the most frequently picked cars for each class. Just an idea, but I wanted to put it out there to see what you guys thought and if you were cool w/ the idea before we started making threads. Perhaps the Mods would like to contribute to this idea as well?

As good as of an idea that is Deutsch, most polls like that simply boil down to a popularity contest. Ofcourse there might be one or 2 polls where brand biased is put aside for an honest answer, but the polls will always be scewed by those voters who blindly vote on the badge rather than their brains.

But that's just my take on it. =)
