While the Aston Martins are drop dead gorgeous, as he put it, I don't know how he can make one of them a "best buy". In my simple mind, no Aston, Maserati, Ferrari, Lambo, Bentley, RR or MM could ever be a "best buy". Maybe for Bill Gates, but I wonder for how many other ordinary people. | | | | | Devotee

That guy lives in his world. | It isn't necessarily based on performance alone. Throw in a few factors like price, reliability, and some biasness (Jag, AM <-> UK), then you've got yourself the answer. | | | | | Devotee

The folks on C&D would flame Jeremy Clarkson for picking the SLK55 AMG.
"It has an automatic, a Geo Metro is more fun to drive."
God, why do I still post there!? The folks there are so mindless and bias, they make the trolls on Autospies look mature... | | | | | Banned

Even though, I just don't understand, how on earth he says the Aston Martin V8 Vantage is better than the BMW M6. Specially, when Clarkson himself said that he prefered the M6 over the Aston.
Anyway...
It's great verdict on a great car. | | | | | Devotee

I second that. It`s a weird list and not at all practical. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
