I can't believe a Lexus forum even exists. There must also be forums for refrigerator and washer/dryer owners.

Lol.

The Toyota/Lexus propaganda is working well but they are just cars and cars brake down no matter where they come from.

Ladies and Gentlemen...the point is.

Mighty Lexus is not invincible!

Lexus also have lemons just like any other manufacturer. But they still No. 1 at the satisfaction surveys.

However, I think those disgruntled Lexus GS owners, should address those faults to Lexus or even J.D Power.

I like Lexus. I don't love them but I respect them. What I don't respect though, are those Lexus owners who think, their cars are better than the Germans. They also seems to be pretty arrogant, and call the German car owners as Snobs.

I'm sorry...reliability aside. I haven't found one single Lexus that attracted me more, than a German car did. You no longer buy a German car, because of the badge or the quality. You buy a German car, because, they are generraly better than the other alternatives.

I've driven a myriad of Lexus. From the early LS400 (GS300, SC400, GS400, RX300, IS300, Current LS430) to the "Sporty" (I would say Tacky) SC430. And they all let me cold.

They were nicely made cars, but way too boring to drive. The SC430 not only it is boring. It also looks hideous!

I might give it a try to the new GS430 and IS350 and see if things really moved on.

Andaluz has a good point there about Lexus cars being a bit too boring. My girlfriend's parents have a Lexus ES300, and her dad doesn't like driving the car (even in Sports mode) because it's just too boring of a ride. Nice and comfy ofcourse, but rather dull in terms of driver involvement.

But, I guess that's Lexus's sales pitch, comfort, smoothness & reliability. They've got the ride quality traits from MB and try to incorporate the aggressive looks of BMW.

Whats the point of this thread? Obviously Lexus vehicles would have a few faults. It would be completely impossible to build 100% faultless vehicles 100% of the time. Does this mean that they're not reliable...absolutely not. Their average level of reliability is beyond repraoch.

If a few online threads is all it takes to draw the conclusion that lexus cars are now unreliable, well then I'm sorry to say all German cars must be POS. And we all know thats not true.
