![]() ![]() ![]() | I think we should respect everyone´s tastes and preferences. But I´m with you in the point that, for every aspect, I prefer to be stylish. And sportwear is far from being stylish. If I go to the gym, I use sportwear, but if I´m going out because of whatever, and don´t want to be too formal, I use jeans. A proper jeans use to be quite pretty and quite cool, at least more than those ugly sport clothes some people wear sometimes. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I prefer to dress smart casual, can't stand sports wear. How people find it nice..I do not know! As the saying goes "You can always judge a man buy his shoes" well i think of it as "You can always judge a man by his car" so I liked to be judge as having a nice dress code....So I should drive an Audi ![]()

I'm kinda with this line of thinking. I'll wear "sports wear" if I'm driving that type of car....a Lotus or Ferrari F430 etc comes to mind, but also I think jeans can work with a Rolls, but not the jean you do work in. Needs to be the some clean, non-faded kind IMO. I think you should dress according to the car, if you care at all. If I had enough money for a Rolls I'd have several other cars in which I can dress down. Then again, this just might be a whole lot of hoopla over nothing at all. Who cares really long as you don't look like a bum? M

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | What is important is that your comfortable. A car is a machine, which is far less value then a actual human. I should have to dress up to impress my car. It's really a matter of where your going. If I am going to a business meeting in Rolls-Royce then I will have a suit on. NOT because it's a Rolls only because it's a business meeting. I personally love sports clothing. I really don't even wear jeans...makes me seem stiff for some reason. I prefer sweat pants. If I'm going to a movie, sporting event, party etc. I will be wearing sweats. If it's church, business or upscale party then yes, I will be in a suit and tie. One the other hand, I do get disturbed when I see someone get out a Bentley with a shirt that is ripped up with stains on it. Other then that if their clean then they are cool with me. I am not, nor will I ever run up to someone in sweat clothing and scream at them for not being dressed up in their expensive car. Just doesn't make sense to me. By the way...I hate when people put Dress shirts with jeans.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Dressing up for a spin in your car is laughable stupidity of the highest degree. You're the master of your car and not the other way around, especially if you can afford a car like the MM or 599 GTB. When you've reached that level nothing in the world should force you to wear something against your convenience or will. |

I go smart casual, but not cheap looking jeans, always decent vintage jeans to match ![]() As everyone is saying you shouldn't have to dress for your car, I do agree I think it would be quite fun turning up to the shops looking like a bum climbing our of your Lp640 but I think you should at least try and maintain the status of the car.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That's actually reality. One shouldn't change their dress code or way of life just because a new car is on the drive way. 95% of all people driving flashy cars in London look no different from me and you. It's impossible to tell apart from the normal bloke riding the bus. |

![]() Not mentioning any brand drivers but if you look at BMW drivers they usually tend to dress a lot more smart because of the company.
