  | Lexus planning V8 diesel for GS My dad just brought me the Auto Motor und Sport issue from mid March. As I was flipping through it, I was astonished to see this small article in the news section. Lexus is actually planning a diesel GS for Europe. The problem is that they're planning on using the 4.5 V8 diesel from the Euro Toyota Landcruiser. Eh, great move! Riiiiiiight.  Who runs this company? A bunch of morons? "Oh, we're Lexus! We can sell anything we want because our cars are the embodiment of perfection and reliability and design and comfort and performance and handling and this and that and this and that..."  This thing has F A I L written all over it. They don't even have a V6 diesel for the GS and now they're planning an overpowered and frankly completely useless V8 diesel? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!? At least I will rejoice and seeing them FAIL.

| A V8 diesel in the GS!! Oh my god…this car is going to become overpowered and way to heavy! Nevertheless could be a competitor to the 535d or the new Jag XF 3.0d… …hope that there will be a complete new face and back for the GS with this engine.

| Who said "behind the curve"? Apparently no one over @ Lexus... No, by all means, go ahead and put that truck engine in a "premium" sedan, that will work out well, no doubt. Autospies will love it.
