  | Chicago Auto Show 2009 - My Experience As you would expect Chicago is a much lower-key experience than Detroit. Very few glitzy debuts, Chicago is a consumer driven show. Lots of debuts for the serious business of selling cars. In no particular order the pics and a few words of our favorite brands and others. M

| Ferrari  Ferrari doesn't do Chicago officially, so a dealer usually displays one. The F430 was the sole Ferrari at Chicago this year. JAGUAR Quickly rising back to the point of relevance and competitiveness, JAGUAR:   I love this car and I'm going to hate to see it go. The XJ defines "classic". | Audi   The Q7 is still ungainly at certain angles.  S6:   R8 V10:    There was a loaded A4 2.0T there, but it was 46K!!!!   Nice, but no way is it worth they kind of money.   TTS:   INFINITI G37 CONVERTIBLE:             A very good looking car, at least top down. The proportions are so much better than the Lexus IS convertible and we all know which one drives better for those who actually want to drive. M

| Mercedes-benz  Handsome little trucklet, no big deal I seem them every day now when I pass the dealer.  Saying goodbye......... Sick little Black C63 AMG:     Farewell.....   Looks like the same designo SL63 AMG that was at Detroit     Most likely the last time we'll see the SLR too. NISSAN 370Z:     A real sports car it is, tight and snug. Still not crazy about the looks, but I need to see it on the road I guess. More pics later....................... M

I mean it really is typical, old-school...cheap and ugly. I'd rather have a Mustang or Challenger I think.
