Wow im really impressed with your 'attention to detail'!! Seriously, some motor magazines can learn from this. And from the most important index, the CUSTOMER.
I've sat in the W204 and really i wont even listen to anyone who says the interior is rubbish. To ME, it doesn't even LOOK rubbish. AND its quality as well. Im thinking best in class...

Justanthony my friend, this "attention to detail" as you described it, is what makes our beloved geman car manufacturers different from the others. Sure, other brand care about the details, but not as much as Audi/BMW/MB! And that's a reason why we are german car fans!

Nice analysis, Mr Mercedes! I was also disappointed by the B8 A4 interior. The feedback when you push the buttons (e.g. A/C or window buttons) is poor. They feel cheap. The interior simply isn't on the same level as that of the B7 A4 which IMO was the best in its class.

Now that you mentioned it bmer, i think that when the B7 was out, it's interior was the benchmark of it's class! Way more solid from both the 3er and the C. And it was very nice and cozzy, too, without many cheap looking plastics!

Nice work but i still prefer the interior of the A4. For example the instrument panel of the C class looks cheap IMO. It's time they remove that useless analogue clock.
