The Z3 in it's prime.
Well, I've driven the Z4 3.0si Coupé and the performance is more than enough. I had fun with the little car, almost got pulled over by the police

Well even driving just the 3.0i seems fast enough. Dropping my father off at the airport I was merging back onto the highway (going around 30mph) I had to get over 3 lanes but cars were blocking so I said f*ck it. I floored it went through 2 gears got around the cars and was already going 85mph in a 55 zone.

Re: What cars do your family members drive?

Father: 2002 BMW 745i (will decide what car to buy next as soon as he test drives F01 760i)
Father's GF: 2008 BMW 325 coupe (delivered a few weeks ago, have to admit: amazing car)
Mother: 2004 MB CLK 240
Sister: 2004 MB SL 350
Sister's boyfriend: Lamborghini Murcielago, Brabus G-Klasse, CL 500 (older one), Brabus S-Klasse (delivery due this autumn)

You know after driving 325 for a few days, clk 240 feels so numb and out dated...

..and the engine sound, oh I love it. Shit, I really love the Z4 3.0si.
IMO your father did an awesome choice

You know, I drove a 335i and E63 AMG same day I drove the Z4 and guess what, the Z4 was a lot more fun to drive than the two others.
If I could afford two cars, a Z4 3.0si would stand next to my babybimmer.
