I do the clay bar (Meguiars also) thing myself about once a month, but the other things they did...DAMN. Gotta see if I can get some of those products. Never seen such detailed, detailing. Gotta be the cleanest Lambo around.

Haha I did a 5 hour detail job myself the other day and that was back breaking. Luckily, I own a silver car so I don't have to meticulous as if I had a black car. Started off with rinse and degreaser, went around with Turtle's Tar and Wax remover to get all those tree sap stains and bugs off. Then moved on to Meguiar's shampoo all around. Final step was using Zymol's wax + swirl mark remover. That product is FANTASTIC and I highly recommend it. However, it dries really quick and when I polish it off, it flakes into spots I can get it out, such as crack between black door bumper strip and door....

Anyway got carried away, new to this detailing world but really enjoy it. Anyone else with tips? I would love to hear.

P.S. I clayed about a month ago and I don't feel like it did anything? Maybe my car was already clean from when I bought it, I dunno

Yes it can be a back breaking exercise. If I'm going to get carried away I usually start in the morning or evening, never in the middle of the day when the sun is high/hot.

If you rub your car and your hand glides across the paint without feeling anything, and I mean nothing but just smooth paint then you you know the clay bar worked. I couldn't believe how smooth my car was after I first used the clay. Then waxing your car is so much easier, comes right off. My dealer's new cars don't feel as smooth!

Yes I hate tree sap and those little flakes of rust or whatever that appear on the sides and rear, coming from the brakes I guess. On this Lambo they even cleaned the brake discs....youch. They're out of my league on that one.
