Prius without question. Hybrid Synergy Drive, hug the trees, save the planet, totally flawed in ability to deliver vs. its intentions, poor carbon footprint and yet... if it's not absolutely a glimpse of future motoring then at least its a snapshot of a car so representative of this period in history.

The Smart ForTwo is also highly iconic in its intended purpose to address city congestion.

so far the two most iconic imo are the Veyron and the Enzoooooooooo.

There is no official list ....it's just a discussion.

The list I compiled in the opening post was just personal thoughts.

Why do I get the feeling most the people here are just naming there favorite cars.... The car that changed the game the most imo over the last decade would have to be the BMW 745i! I'm not up on the code names like E65 or whatever, but it seems Mercedes, Audi, Bentley, and a slew of other car company's are following what BMW's I-Drive started!

Side note: I never cared much for the 745, but it's impact has to be acknowledged..

I agree with you that the 7 series BMW has probably been the most influential in the industry ......but does that make it the most iconic?

As I said above, when I started the thread I didn't consider this topic to be as multi-faceted as it obviously is.

My mistake for confusing the question SDNR...
In that case I'm gonna have to go with the Porsche CGT, this car is talked about as if it's still in production. It appears to be the most admired, and desired supercar whether your from Asia to Italy.. More importantly it tends to be the bar which all other supercars are measured against! Just my 10 cent...
