UPDATE: Insurance ASSESSOR HAS ASSESSES THE CAR: Damages: R144 000 (+- $20 000) Car is valued at $25000,We hoping it will be Written off...  Thanx ... Farouk... |

just out of curriosity Farouk, since i also drive an S60. You say that the car is valued at $25.000. May i ask how old is it, and what was the initial price you bought it? I just have no idea about the depreciation of this certain model. |

S60 2.OT 1 yearo Old, Around 18 000 kms, Purchase price was R250 000 ($31250-00) Volvos have pathetic resale values in South Africa, And some are considered 2nd hand bargains, if u not going 2 sell it anytime soon...  . Farouk.... btw: what Volvo S60 You got..? if i may ask, what was your Purchase reason compared to other cars that were available...are u happy with your rurpose? any problems or complaints..? |

About the S40, i think it's very nice designed, inside out but i haven't driven it.. In black it looks awesome! |
