![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Depends on the driver. I have touch screen navigation and I love it. It's really a matter of knowning when to use it.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | From my experiences, touchscreens can be fairly easy to use as long as the virtual buttons have a logical placement. Actually, the spinning knob (iDrive, Command, MMI) works quite well, to me it seems intuitive and easy to use, even iDrive which I've found isn't as bad as reviews say. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have tried them all except from Lexus, but I can only account from what they are like standing still! Personally I find Audis MMis soo easy to use, all the buttons around the control knob makes finding what you want so much easier than going into the main system with the knob and selecting it from there. BMWs is much better now they have the buttons, but its looks really ugly.. Mercedes is very well set out in my opinion, everything is accessible from the main menu. The only touch screen I have used in a jag is in a Ford Focus ST, I personally found that distracting as the screen is a lot lower in the centre console

![]() | Oh my topic back from the dead! Interestingly, Lexus is abadoning the touch screen now Though I'm yet to experience the new system. The layout and functionality in my families lexus vehicles still make no sense and drive me around the bend.Command II in my C-class I LOVE. Perfectly logical, perfectly ergonomic and perfectly smooth operation (read no lag)! Now if only MB would incorporate some cutting edge graphics. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I used the new Lexus system in the RX and it annoyed the hell out of me. They should've stuck with the touch screen one for sure. The one in Infinity's is also anoying. I kept trying to twist the knob when I had to use the arrows. COMAND III is def. the best except now I think the new I-Drive (2.0?) has beaten it. The only thing I don't like about COMAND is that the knob keeps getting smaller. The one in the S & CL is perfect with the wrist pad.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Lol..Get some screen cleaner then! When my touchscreen navigation gets dirty I just clean it up. It's really not all that bad. Playing with a nob all day can be annoying (at least to me). I am way more concerned about someone getting in my car picking their nose, farting in my leather seats or putting their feet up on the dash then I am with my own finger prints. Then again, everyone has to get what personally fits them.
