We share a common taste for these old Mercedes. I love the Gullwing too.

Funny that you listed the 500K, when I chosed the 540K. The difference is mainly the spare wheel, integrated at the back in the 540K, from what I know (and a bigger engine, with 5 speeds for the 540K. I think the 540K has 160hp, but not sure). Apart that they look the same, absolutely gorgeous. For me the most beautiful car ever made.

My 540K has to be red also, the dark red in the first pic I posted is absolutely incredible...This car makes me dream...

This is one of those things that I have enormous problems with. If I had a ton of money, I'd most likely get a ton of slightly older cars which I've liked ever since they were new but which have not quite reached classic status yet... you know, the E34 M5, W124 E500 type of stuff.

1) BMW X6. In the color I supposedly can't have (that dark grey), tinted windows, 21" rims, my siggy coming to life (the lights). Hook up the brake lights to the accelerator. NY vanity plates, embroided upholstery.

2) Range Rover Supercharged (black or chrome color)

3) Ferrari F430 Scuderia (in cliche red)

4) Dodge Viper (the 2001-current models)

5) BMW M3

6) Maybach

7) Mercedes Benz CLS 63 AMG

8) Acura Integra (my "hooptie")
