| Monster's visit to the Australian International Motor Show 2007 (Review+Photos) -

Today marks the 2nd anniversary of my GCZ membership, and to celebrate this occasion, I went to the Australian International Motor Show and check out the new local and international metals. There are a few world premieres in this year's show, such as the EvoX, the Land Cruiser, and the Touareg R50. The show is the biggest ever with a lot of new models on display. There is something for everyone so please do read the review and check out the photos. This is more like a tease, I will upload more photos later.
Once I went through the gates, I rushed to the BMW display area to see the CS concept and the X6 concept, and my jaw dropped. Guys forget what you see in the photos, if it looks good in the photos, the CS concept is a million times better in real life. Honestly it is just . Tycoon, you MUST see it in real life if you haven't done so. The car looks far shorter and lower than that in the photos, and the special metallic paint is like the MB Alu-beam paint. Every curve, every surface reflects a different shade of silver. The paint is so smooth it is like looking at liquid metal.
The nose might appear to be ugly in the photos but in real life, it looks perfect. Words fail to describe how amazing this car looks. so here are a few photos to help out. After spending a long time looking at the CS at every possible angle, I turn around and saw something I didn't expect. Sitting on my left is the BMW X6!! I didn't expect the X6 to be there because the media has been focusing on the CS. I have no idea why BMW decided to contain the X6 in this ugly barrier, so I cannot get a good view of the car. - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
After spending a good hour or so looking at both concept cars, I turn my attention to the white M3 not too far away. It was interesting to see that both the CS and the M3 is getting more attention from the crowd than the X6. Some guy said the X6 looks "a bit last minute" - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
Well I will stop here for now. almost 2:30am, time to hit the bed, will upload a lot more photos with complete reviews tomorrow. | | | | | The Following 14 Users Say Thank You to Monster For This Useful Post: | Bartek Sikorski (10-13-2007), Bruce (10-13-2007), cawimmer430 (10-12-2007), Centurion (10-13-2007), daani (10-15-2007), DaSilva (10-14-2007), Just_me (10-13-2007), Mr. M (11-04-2007), mrkc77 (10-13-2007), ree (10-12-2007), SDNR (11-24-2007), shonguiz (10-13-2007), siko (10-15-2007), Yaz (10-12-2007) | | Moderator

Excellent pictures! I gave you karma already for the first post! One question though, what do you think of the eye brows on the CS? Do they distract the shape of the front lights? | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to bmer For This Useful Post: | | |
