Good job PC-V. I have seen a C55 or two on the track here. I also recently got to ride in a Cayman S with Pilot Sport Cups and PSS-9 suspension and was impressed.
Here are some pics on me in my 914-6 and 996 GT3 on the track. My wife is in the car with me in the first pic of the 914-6. See how the inside tire comes off the ground on the GT3 in turn 17 at Sebring.

drronh, nice pics and nice stable of cars listed in your signature. How do you find the 997 GT3 RS and the 996 GT3 on the track? Is the 997 GT3 RS a quantum leap over the 996 GT3 or a more subtle improvement?

I have not and will not drive the RS on the track. I have been on the track with RS's though and do not see a big difference in lap times with 996 GT3. I have driven my friend's RS hard on the street and have to say I liked the 996 GT3 better. It feels lighter and more agile. Other RS owners have said the same thing. But I was also talking to someone yesterday who is turning their RS into a rally car and he has a lot of time on the track in both. He told me that once you get used to the feel of the 997 GT3 and RS they really are better than the 996 GT3. In any event, I am waiting to have a complete carbon fiber body kit put on my 996 GT3 so look fo rfuture updates

Now that is quite a surprising statement......I would have imagined that the whole point of a car like the 997 GT3 RS is to take it on the track.

Anyways, here is another picture from that track day. This is a more "artsy" picture of the entire short front straight from the track I went to. That blurry car on the track is me.
