![]() | CO2 and your car Do you know who much CO2 does your car produce for example g/km? Would you like to know and is CO2-emissions one aspect for you when you are purchasing a new vehicle? I'm personally more aware about this chemical and the climate change. To be honest, I have lost a litte bit of respect for supercars/SUV's with high CO2-emissions... I don't have a car so I can't give my CO2-number. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: CO2 and your car On my 1992 GMC VanDura2500 the last couple readings at state inspections were 14.1 and 15.2. I know they are percentages but don't really know what it means other than they are good enough for passing the annual state inspection in North Carolina. My 1989 911 Turbo is at the shop where they are installing the 6 speed at this time so can't check on that. The state inspection was done just about 4 weeks ago though and it did pass. If this thread is still active when I get the car back I'll post the numbers on that car. I know in the past it had failed a couple of tests in California and classified as a gross polluter. However, now that I have had it converted to EFI (Motec M48) I think the car should always pass with flying colors. |
