Yeah it is, but there is hope. Talk of Alfa and even Fiat coming back seems to never die down. Alfa/Fiat would have to prove to me though that I'm not going to be doing Beta testing for their products though. I wouldn't be first to buy one they day they go on sale.

I was under the impression that Alfa will be back in the U.S. some time next year, and that the cars will be sold through the Maserati dealer network.

Well that was plan a while back, but "next year" is fast approaching and there has been nothing new on that in months. Plus I remember reading something that said 2009 or 2010. The date keep getting pushed back.

With every new generation of Alfa Romeos they claim that the quality problems have been fixed but the reality proves otherwise. 159 has many reliability problems and here in Greece despite the low price and free equipment offers sales are lower every year.
