I don't find anything wrong in that. Audi for example hired Walter de Silva to give a more "Italian" look to the cars. ![]()

The thing is when he debuted this new "style" of BMW they stood out and that is the key. No one is calling BMW's pretty, especially the 7 and 5-Series, but they do (especially the 7) get your attention. M

Just like I know many many people who dont find every MB to be pretty. Facelifted 7er is huge step up in design department, prefacelifted 7er makes me puke.

I'd say most German cars are handsome or merely good looking with a few exceptions like certain coupes and convertibles, but gernally "pretty" IMO is reserved for Aston Martins, Ferraris and the like. A BMW 7 or 5-Series definitely ain't even close to that in my book. M

We don't get Alfa-Romeo here, and just be clear design is important, but it isn't the sole factor in me liking a vehicle...it just gets the vehicle in question on the list to be considered (if I'm actually buying as opposed to just writing about cars here with you guys!). M
