It seems you are much more generous than I am in your definition of character Merc1, I like the cars you have posted though. The Chrysler 300C undoubtedly has character - the Audi S8 is one of my favourite cars, but I don't think it has a great deal of character at all - I guess this is a very subjective topic
Renault Clio V6
The 1999 Renault Avantime was only in production for a short time because it did not sell very well - I love it! - Perhaps it has "personality" more than character.

Yeah I think character is kinda hard to pin down, but some of those cars I picked because I think they're stunning to look at or just plain different, not sure if that means they have character though. Something to ponder. I forgot about the French cars, they definitiely have character. People love and hate them equally, but no one can deny they are unique and full of character.
Plus you already posted the G-Class and various Bentleys like the old Continental and Arnage, 3 of the cars I was going to post.

Every since you posted that about character I'm thinking the Mini does have it, but it is really more a cute car. It is easily the cutest little thing running around on American roads right now.
