I wouldn't be suprised by the time this new tire is ready for car applications, that BMW would be the first to feature it. W/ as much splash as they're making w/ run flat tech, they're for sure going to be all over this. I wonder what Burkhard Goeschel would say?

Too bad it looks horrible. If those wheels are the future, I'll make sure I glue some black leather on the side. I just can't imagine a car without proper tyres... that's definitely a part (that and rims) that makes the car aggressive.

I think if they wanted to, they could make those wheels look awsome. That is still kind of a concept version, when they get those wheels and tires looking proper, Im sure it will look good. Or we'll just have to get used to it

Yeah, the insides may just be exposed to show off the technology and what they look like inside. I'm sure they could probably make them look like conventional tires if they needed to.
