I thihk the new C70 coupe/convertible looks great!
Mercedes Benz design is fabulous, very sleek, not too loud, muscular, classic, and sporty. The quality of the exterior panels is great, no big, gaping panel gaps.
BMW is challening, to put it all into one word, I've never had to go back and fourth w/ a design as much as I have w/ those of the latests generation BM's. Not only that but the cars are so sensitive, the slgihtest change in color, rims choice, sadly enough, even angle can obliterate an otherwise great car. I wish the designs weren't so contrived and created as a means of satisfying marketing. NONE of the panel gaps are where they should be because the design dictates where they go, not the closing and opening of the trunk, or the closing and opening of the hood. It's just too much for one eye. The one sasauge different lengths wasn't that bad afterall, as we are now learning.
Audi, what can I say, great designs, but just a tad too simplistic for my tastes. The Q7 has offically become the best looking SUV on the markeet, or perhaps the Vida Guerra of all the Britney Spears. Great effort by Audi, but they need to put in a little flare into their designs. The facelifted A4 is very dull excluding the RS4 of course, which has all the right touch up bits to make for an exciting, powerful, and purposeful design.
VW, same as Audi, but not quite, the masisve chrome grills can for sure be re-thought out into something more easy on the eye, but its' not that bad. Touraeg is an awesome looking SUV. Golf V can look a little less hatch and a bit more unique as it's character.
Saab, great designs, 9-5 desperately needs a replacement. Looks as if we will see Saab influenced designs in the future and not that of any other GM brand, thank god.
Porsche- if ain't broke, don't fix iti.
Jaguar, new XK is brillant, I've heard nothing but great things for the S-type freshining coming our way, but that too needs a replacement.
