Much prefer the Brooklands

Yep, second that! I'm a big fan of the Bentley automobiles. Never really like the design of the new Rolls Royce'! Nevertheless this one is a stunning car.

The Bentley Brooklands is a stylish car but this Roll-Royce is superior from nearly all technical aspects. However, the replacement for the Arnage is going to change everything.


I can still recall an arrogant comment made by a BMW representative in an article a few years ago ...along the lines of (paraphrasing here) "there is only room in this market for two -- Bentley will go" -- ha ha ...he couldn't have been more incorrect.

This sounds a bit weird, but for some reason, I hope that there will never been an update for the Arnage. It's just perfect right now. Great engine, design etc…and for technical aspects, it doesn't need an update.

^ He he ...well it is great you love it Ihno, but it certainly isn't perfect.

I know you are worried that the replacement will not possess the old-fashioned charm of the Arnage -- you could be right. We will have to wait and see.

Well, I think, you're right. No car is nearly perfect - but that's the thing with loving an automobile. You will "condone" the problems and flaws.

The thing is, the market is no so forgiving. Bentley has to replace the Arnage or it will become irrelevant. Rolls will soon launch its own model in this segment -- and this will greatly affect Arnage sales. Unfortunately, it all comes back to economics in the end.

What u mean the RR is superiour in everyway? well looks is subjective,engine department well Bentley's engine might be outdated but it's got the power and torque to tow a mountain and definitely handles better than phantom coupe and i won't even start on the divine interior of the Bentley.Personally i prefer the CL65 over both but the brooklands is definitely on par with RR coupe

Phantom Coupe is not bad but it doesn't quite have the elegance and traditional design that I like in the Brooklands. I'm eagerly waiting to see what kind of approach will Volkswagen have with the Arnage successor.

This shows you have no taste, Tarek. j/k Anyway, CL is more of a Continental GT competitor.
