California's nickname is the golden state from the gold rush in 19th century. And so the Californian cost is knows as the gold coast. And I guess since this spacial edition was revealed in Pebble beach which is located in the gold cost and hence the name.

Anyway, I saw this car yesterday. It is really stunning. Much better execution of the 4 door "coupish car" (I refuse to call anything with 4 doors a coupe) than the CLS. And it completely avoids the banana on wheels look. The only "iffy" part is the tail lights.

The Gold Coast is doused in a rich-looking brown finish dubbed "Pepe Pepper" by DuPont, and it adopts a squat, muscular stance riding on a set of KW coilovers. 19-inch wheels fill out the wells nicely, and a full ground effects kit brings the look even closer to the ground. Veedub's 280-horsepower 3.6 FSI V6 sits underhood, mated to a six-speed DSG. Stopping power on this looker is further enhanced with a set of the Audi R8's ceramic discs in front.
