Re: Porsche Panamera Thread II (Spy pics & info)

The M3 and C63 are sports saloons. They couldn't be further removed from a true sports car, klier. Just look at how many wealthy executives use their 911s as daily drivers... It's not like they're used for carting the kids to school... The 911 is the everyday sportscar and that's a fact as clear as day.

Instead, I'm inclined to think that your assertion is rooted in some form of anti 911 / Porsche sentiment. The X6 is about hardcore track action? Now, you give me a break. Ja, ja, we all know the X6 is a handling revelation for SA-watchamacallits - thank heavens for that because it's good at f-all else.

And my comment about the X6 vs Cayenne was about the NEW Cayenne. The NEW Cayenne looks like the old Cayenne when compared to the X6. Porsche said different things a few years back....it becoming a SAC for example. And that will not happen.

And if the Cayenne is about utility, the X6 is about hardcore track action. Cayenne is just like X6 nothing more than a fashion statement. It might do a bit better off-road, but the X6 is better on a track.

Enough off-topic now though
The new Cayenne will be more road focused than the current one but the form form factor will remain for the sole reason that Porsche don't want to alienate families buying who buy the Cayenne for it's superb versatility. BMW obviously have a bit more play room with the X6 since there is already two other dedicated family SUVs in the line up.

Panamera will look great . Here some nicer pics with more curves on the side and sloping roof line - at the end it will be very close to the last image (bellow)

Next Caymann and Cayenne with same curvie 'signature look'
