You would think they would have better safety at the end of the strip instead of just a solid barrier. Sad.

I don't know the guy, never heard of the guy, but during NASCAR practice they alluded to this tragedy, and gosh was that a very abrupt collision and very sad way for a top competitor to lose his life.

And I agree with bum-man, for a top-level drag racing series, you'd think they'd pick a track with better facilities and safety precautions. I guess sometimes a sad event like that forces some people to open their eyes.
