Quite a nice car, but don't like this:

These additional lamps looks horrible - even it is for our safety!

And the prices are - well - at a high level. About 30.000 € for the 1.6 Turbo!

It's too bad that the myopic chowder-heads at GM will be sacrificing Saturn at the "profitability roadmap" altar. The donor product coming from Opel has never been better, and the brand really has a chance to succeed - if they only gave it a chance.

GM let Saturn rust in the backyard for a decade, with absolutely terrible cars like the Ion - but at the same time, seem to have expected the brand to turn around the very minute they introduced quality product. The public has it etched in their heads - Losers drive Saturns.

Even the arrogant dolts who ran GM should have understood that it takes well over one product cycle to convince the public that you've changed your ways. Look at Hyundai - They've had reasonably good cars available for the past 5 years, but people are just now starting to wake up to the realization that Hyundai doesn't make underpowered crap-boxes anymore.

Same goes for Saturn. It wouldn't matter if they were selling cars made of solid gold that gave you handjobs, it would still take one full product cycle for the public to come around to the realization that they were selling quality vehicles. Unfortunately, it looks like the public won't have the chance to come around to it since there's all kinds of hatchet-posturing going on right now and Saturn is an easy target.
