Opel Corsa Limited Edition: Designed by Opel's Trainees -
04-04-2008, 07:35 PM
Unveiled at the Leipzig International Auto Show in Germany, the Corsa Limited Edition is the result of the collaborative work of 120 young trainees who participated in Opel’s project to create a special edition version of the Corsa. Despite the fact that Opel’s initial intention was to create a prototype model to show off in Leipzig, the German carmaker’s Chairman Hans Demant was so impressed with the result that he gave the “ok” for the production of a limited edition run of 1,000 units.
Available with three engine options -1.2L 80Hp and 1.4L 90Hp petrol and 1.3L 90Hp diesel units, the Corsa Limited Edition combines a Casablanca white colored body with black colored rooftop, mirrors, grille and 17-inch alloy wheels. Additionally, the limited edition version features a subtle bodykit that includes front and rear lip spoilers, side skirts, roof spoiler and chromed exhaust tip.
The black and white theme is also continued in the interior. Sales of the Corsa Limited Edition are scheduled to begin on June 2008 with prices starting from €15,850.
