There's a guy in Germany who owns a W123 sedan with a 200-hp 3.5 V8 sourced from a W116 350SE or SEL. He has a "200D" badge at the back.

It's a great read Wimmer. I really want to sit in a E500 and experience it for all its full glory, but I don't think there's even one running around here in Singapore.

The E500 / 500E on the inside feels like any other W124 sedan for the most part - except leather was standard.

The real E500 / 500E experience comes when you step on the pedal.

I've seen TONS of these around sadly.

It's some sort of fad here in Europe. People like to give some W124 and C124 (Coupes) the C126 (W126 S-Class coupe) front treatment. Terrible.
