  | MB Classic: W123 vs W124 Scanned this from the last Mercedes Classic magazine. Great article about two of MBs most beloved E-Class generations. I'll take the W123 thank you!  Man, it should be mandatory for everyone here to learn German so I don't always have to translate these things!  Then again everyone here probably knows the history of the W123 and W124 so you're not missing much.   The Scans

| Notice the kilometre on the W124 tacho = 252.427! And it looks like new!! Especially the interior and exterior: leather etc!! Everything is just perfect!!

| Awesome cars... I could need a car less thursty than my 450SLC, so I could give it a 123 as companion... either a 300D or a 230E I think. Maybe a 124 would be more adapted as a daily driver (rust...)? What do you think, knowing that it would sit in the street (I have only one garage and the SLC is in it...) and that 3.000€ is the absolute limit?

| I would love to own a W124 out of the last series with the wonderful 6-cylinder in a E 320!! Should be an awesome ride - also the E 420 is quite interesting, but way to thursty I think!
