Hong Kong seems to have a disturbing enthusiasm for rebuilding old Mercedes with new AMG parts. Maybe it has something to do with its booming stock market. Remember the 600 landaulet that had a 7.3 AMG engine stuck in it? The first 300SL with AMG rims was the Sultan of Brunei's car. I'm not saying that this HWA example is bad, but I prefer the original car much more. I like the 1950s interior with plaid seats and I'll take the Rudge wheels over the AMGs. |

I'm sorry but I don't really like this concept of upgrading old cars! I like it when they upgrade the brakes, and safety features, but without changine the design of the car, that is good. But when they change things like the rims and steering wheel to horrid modern stuff, that isn't too good! |
