Great pictures, Audiholic. The Quattro is such a great car! Michele Mouton was behind the wheels in some of those pictures. The 1980s all ladies French team was heavily criticized at the time, but it brought a lot of interest to rallying.
I think today's rallying lacks the flare and excitement of 1980s rallying. Look at the crowds in those pictures. The safety standards today are so rigorous and the 600 HP Group C rally cars are gone. Still, WRC had a fatality just a few months ago.

Yeah , I can't do nothing than agree. The Audi Quattro, The Lancia Integrale, the BIIIG group A cars...hehe... That was the time.
