Help with New York City - 12-07-2006, 12:42 PM

Hey guys,

I know some members here on GCZ are from the Big Apple. I'll be heading over there next week for a holiday and well, I was wondering if I could get any tips on what I should do/watch out for as well as any recommendations on food, shopping, sight-seeing, etc.

We'll be renting a 4x4 to drive around, possibly to Canada (Quebec, Niagra Falls) and maybe to Washington DC as well.

I'll be taking a lot of pictures so stay tuned you photo junkies.

I would really appreciate any help because I'm planning the itinerary for my family.
