I recently got in an argument with my friend about this so I was curious how much do you tip at resturaunts, assuming its acceptable service? * I realize in a lot of Europe it is not custom to tip but if you do/did how much? 0-10% 10-15% 15-20% over 20% Also lets hear some stories if you got em... |

I usually tip dpending on the service that I get. If the service is adequate to excelent, I do 15 to about 20 repectively. If service is sub-par, I tip about 10%. If it's down right aweful, I don't tip (it happened only a few times) |

In Finland, usually nothing (except possibly 'keep the change' but I rarely pay cash anyway). Abroad, I try to remember to tip according to whatever the local custom is... overall it's something I'm not very comfortable with. |
