Anything we can do to keep visual litter under control at GCZ is a good thing. I refuse to read forums that have graphic signatures or "userbars" because it's a complete chore to read posts.

Isn't an avatar and a text signature enough personal expression without having to throw yet another graphic into a post?

For the love of God, please don't use these things. Next thing, we'll have video signatures followed by flash minigame signatures followed by signatures containing entire websites with live auctions and webcam chat.

I think what Yannis wants these for is to use in different forums not this one.

As far GCZ goes I think you're right, although limited sized(400x20) bars like the ones we posted here would be no more obnoxious than lots of large flashy text in the signature, IMO.

I am against the use of pictures of any kind in the signatures. It messes up the forum and looks ugly.
