So I'm watching this "super sweet 16" marathon on MTV right now and they just fininshed the intro where they grouped all of the season two cast to watch their shows and do some side commentary on certain events that occured througout their individual episodes. Make a long story short, one of the girls comments "a lot of people say mean things on message boards, like on MTV.com, like really harsh things and they don't even know us". I thought about this comment for a sec and thought about the various things that I've read on message boards that entertain various subjects, and it seems that you get some people that are way off on the deep end in life, people that make rude and nasty comments about things they have no control of and people that they don't know. Granted everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion, I really do think there is a line that many cross when it comes to thinking clearly and being rational w/ the expression of your thoughts. Believe me, I know I haven't been the freindliest person in past times, but I know the difference between being opinonated and being just plain stupid.
