LOL - I thought this might be fun. I have never seen a ghost, but I have experienced a couple of strange things - not very dramatic..just a bit weird.

Do you guys believe that ghosts exist?

What do you think they are?

When I was young, I lived in a large old house, occasionally some really strange things happened. My mother had one experience that really scared her but the one I remember was one night we were sitting in our living room when we heard the cupboards in our hallway open and close - when my mother went into the hall, there was nothing there...all of a sudden our dog went nuts...and she ran under the sofa to hide....soon afterwards she went over to the fireplace and appeared to be watching something.

Another thing that happened at the house almost every day was some switches on our dishwasher always were changed - it's quite hard to explain what I mean about the switches being pressed in different sequences - but it happened nearly every day. I can honestly say that it wasn't anybody in my family because I took special note of it happening even when I was the only person in the house - just a simple little thing with no rational explanation I can think of.

Roberto, where did you live when you were young? Was the house in HK? There are many sites that have since been turned into residential buildings where numerous people died during the Japanese occupation of HK. Yes, I do believe in ghosts.

A relative of mine once told me about their friends living in a old lowrise building in Kowloon Tong. It was one of those colonial style five, six story buildings erected in the 1940s. They insisted they had encounters with the ghosts of an expatriate family that once lived there. I don't think any harm was done other than the young children being frightened enough to go to the toilet at night.

no bt one time i was playing piano in our foraml living room....i was alon in the house...........and soundly i heard footsteps in the room above me........iwas scared to deat......it was like really slow and steady footsteps..........its true story also.

Do I believe in ghosts? Well, it's saturday night and I'm at the office (don't ask), which means I'm alone in a building which was built on the site where they used to hang people (seriously). Now take a guess.

Things like these always happen here specially in the desert or whatever. We were once playing soccer in a farm, ball fell in the gardening and i went to take it. when i was gonna leave the gardening i felt someone held my leg. it is scary but we get used to it. we sometimes hear ppl walk and stuff. for us its no biggy.

I have a friend who is from the backwoods of Eastern Finland. He once told me that he and his friends would scare the crap out of themselves by going in the middle of the night into a site where a major battle took place during the Winter War in January 1940. They'd just walk around in the area where 23,000 Russian and 800 Finnish soldiers lost their lives until one of them would basically freak out. He said that they'd hear, see and feel all sorts of things while in there...
