Some hours before, my gf got angry because she thinks i spent more time in GCZ than needn't, and because she thinks i should spend all these hours with her.
I think that i am not addicted. I log in whenever i have spare time, just because i like this forums, i enjoy partisipating, i practice my english ( ) and because you are all great guys. But she says we are all (including me) a banch of car addicted boys, who only think of cars, cars, and cars.

I was addicted over Christmas break because I had nothing to do... i mean checking in every 30 mins is a bit overkill. But now I'm cutting it down because this forum takes up way too much time PLUS there are that many new news anyway. So yea, it's time to trim it down for me and get back to work... oh wait, I'm in GCZ

Hey, I don't always think about cars - sometimes I think about computers, too, and occasionally I eat and sleep.

Just kidding. Well, I count this as a vaguely social thing; even though you guys are many thousands of kilometres away, it's still talking to real people. I try not to spend too much time here, but it's nice to see what you guys have to say. My girlfriend usually isn't around here a huge amount of time anyhow, but she knows I hang out on the forums sometimes. I suppose it's just up to you to keep everything in balance!

Personally I have the latest week realised that I spend a heck a lot of time on car forums, especially GCZ. To be honest I don't have a problem with that at all. Since I spend more time in front of the computer than what I spend sitting in the living room softa I'm glad that I'm atleast doing some educational on the net. Such as learning more about cars and practicing my english.

I've noticed that whenever I'm at a computer, I have GCZ open and check new posts way too often. Currently no girlfriend to nag about it, I guess I should get away from the computer more often.

As i said before, i don't think i am addicted to GCZ, but i enjoy it and i learn some really interesting news here. I try not to spend more than 1.5h connected per day, since i work many hours and i need to rest a little. So there are days that i don't even connect to the net. And when i'm at work i don't browse GCZ. I need to separate work and fun. As for the gf, we spend many hours together everyday. Sometimes she sleeps to my house! Yesterday i forgot to turn off the computer. About 1.00am i woke up and i went to the bathroom. On my way back i thought, "let's check GCZ for any updates". The point is that she noticed me and got angry. But she didn't lose her sleep about this. She threw some words on me in the morning

i gotta say that gcz is the first site i go to when i turn on my computer to check for new posts and while its on i always have the page up. So i gotta say that im not addicted but i probably spends over 2hrs here a day and loving every minuete of it

Im gonna admit it.. im hooked.. addicted..whatever you want to call it.. i love it and i aint stopin anytime soon..
when GCF closed i was shocked.. i felt like damn i dont know what to do with my spear time..

so i guess your GF is right .. we are ( or atleast me) car addicts.. no doubt..

Hey Giannis... maybe your girlfriend is less angry at you participating at GCZ as she is with your avatar.

But I do understand what you're saying Giannis. My ex was like that. Infact, whenever we'd go walking somewhere and I'd look at a BMW (just look, not totally stare) she'd get angry and defensive and whine that I like cars more than her.... uhhh... hence why she is my ex.

I don't think i'm addicted either... but 99% of the time that i'm online, I have GCZ open and continually read the New Posts to see what's up. Lately I haven't been posting much since i'm still overseas...but overall I don't think i'm addicted at all.

** Giannis... you might just want to ask your girlfriend whether it's GCZ or Angeline Jolie which has got her angry. ...good luck with her buddy.
