Warning if you plan to upgrade some extensions might not work (most do, for me at least).
I've been using Betas and RCs and think the 3er is great.
I ''upgraded'' from Firefox 2 to Firefox 2 betas and my comp just died pretty much, had to reinstall windows afterwards. Since then I stick with Firefox 2 and switched off the auto update function.
I downloaded it. Cool stuff, but I have to say I'm more impressed with Opera right now. Only thing is, can I have AdBlockPlus, DownloadHelper and these other add-ons on Opera? I'll check that... If not I'll return back to FF.
been using the beta's for the last 5 months or so. Glad the real deal is finally ready.
I totally admire the Firefox group for building such a reliable software to compete with IE7 (which is a complete POS) and distributing it for free. Best decision of my life was to try out Firefox. Im also intrigued by Opera. Will give it a try one of the days.

I also use Firefox for a very long time. In fact i think it was just_me who recommended it.
I am using it for quite some time now (beta 5) cause it's the standard navigator for ubuntu 8 and i must say that i am not that impressed plus it ******* crashes every 30 min (but it's a beta and ubuntu 8 is also still unstable ), the biggest new feature wich is the new adress typing method is also not that a good of idea so overall it's a bit dissapointing.

Just installed it and it works fine, I was already happy with the prvious version so it can anloy get better, I don't have any add-ons yet so I won't have the problem that they won't work ;-)
