The Allpar images don't work by the way.
The Yamaha YZF-R1 is one of the best street bikes out there.
The new YZF-R6 is supposed to be an amazing 600 with all the new things they have on it. The thing looks great too as I saw one at the auto show earlier this month.
The MV Agusta F4 Tamburini is really nice (limited edition) and is street legal unlike the one posted at the top. It is one of the few European bikes I've seen that could probably match a Japanese one in a straight line and not just around a track. It was for 2005 though, so the closest equivalent model for 2006 is the F4-1000 Senna. Both of these models are around 35 lb. heavier than an R1 is, though. The difference isn't huge though as if the guy on the R1 is fatter than you it will make up the difference.

I've never ridden a motorcycle before, though. I have ridden ATVs which are a lot of fun to go off-roading in on sand dunes and things like that. Here's probably my favorite one, the Yamaha Raptor 700R (you can tell I'm a Yamaha fan).
