Well damn, I just bought the 16gig version 3 weeks or so ago. 32 gigs would have been perfect, but 500 bucks is getting too ridiculous

I kinda agree... but the fact that they didn't reduce the price makes me feel somewhat ok. I still have about 50 percent of free space left. 500 bucks for an Mp3 player is getting absolutely ridiculous. You can get a PS3 for that kind of money

I agree.....I still haven't gotten the PS3 yet....something inside of me is also waiting for a price reduction, so I can make myself believe that I'm not going insane buying some of these ridiculously priced techies these days

But a PS3 runs on mains power, needs its own screen & won't fit in your top pocket

A year ago 32gb flash memory wouldn't have been economically feasible... 16gb was pushing it (I think being the largest on offer from any company?) It's just the way of technology, it always has been and if Apple could've introduced a 32gb last year for any reasonable price I'm positive they would have...
