I don't know much about Moscow. Is Moscow really that thriving? What kind of companies/industries are there for that city to be warranted as the most expensive?

Yes. I never knew Moscow was an expensive city, there currency ins't exactly powerful, although it's a mega nation.

I think most of the population is concentrated in Moscow, hence the intense competition for space in it. St Petersburg or other cities are way, way smaller than Moscow I think. Moscow has the highest primacy in Russia.

Singapore's getting more and more expensive. Not good...
