Good thread.
When I was young, I used to aspire to become a pilot. One of the reasons why I took a Science combination in high school was so that I could qualify for one of the pre-requisites of being a pilot - Pure Physics - but my interest soon died off towards the end of my high school, as I felt I wasn't apt enough in Physics nor was I ready for the mental and physical endurance tests that flying a commercial aeroplane would entail.
So, in pre-university, I switched to Arts - focusing on softer subjects, like Literature, to appreciate the English Language and to improve my communications skills. And Economics, so that I have some grounding in the business world. I also took Geography because I think my general knowledge of the world and the environment around me would put me in good stead.
Now, I'm aiming to become a businessman like my father. That's not my only dream though. I'm also considering to become a lawyer, but I don't think I have the guts to fight it out in the justice courts. A journalist would be nice, but I doubt it would give me a good life in the future, if I ever want my dream of owning an Aston Martin to be fulfilled.
So yes, enough of the runabout talk, my dream job is to become an entrepreneur, a businessman.
