So, AutoExpress releases information today that says that the new GT-R will come in at £29,000... in Japan. We're not sure how that's going to equate in U.S. dollars (or yen, for that matter), but what was even more interesting was that they divulged the varying levels of trim that will be offered when the GT-R goes on sale next year.

The "entry-level" version will come equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox, four piston Brembos and the aforementioned £29,000 price tag. The next step up would be the £35,000 V-spec version, that gets a seven-speed DSG and six-piston stoppers, while the top o' the line Evolution package will get everything included in the V-spec, but will also come with lots of carbon fiber pieces to reduce weight. The GT-R Evolution will likely be priced over £50,000.

Again, we have no idea where these figures and trim levels came from, as AutoExpress only says that "sources" provided in the information. Whatev, we're still salivating.

Seems a bit too low imo. If that is true, which I really doubt, this will be the best bang for the buck performance car.

Nope...that'd be too low. The new G37 coupe will be closer to 40k and the GT-R is supposedely at the level of the 911 so I think the GT-R is going to be closer to around 70-80k. They don't expect to sell a million of these...I think they're target is like 10-20k in america anually.

The price I mentioned up there, is for "entry-level" coupe ...! The "fully-loaded/action" (top of the line) package should be somewhere around USD 60-70K $ ...!

What I know is, it's gonna be one hell of a machine, as she's replacing a "monster" ...!

I have a very hard time believing the GTR will only be "£29,000". Hell, the R34 GTR cost £56,000 when it came out.

I don't think the US will be getting an "entry" Coupe because the entry coupe for the Skyline brand is sold as the Infinity G35/37(new) in the US. So there will only be one variant of the GT-R here in the states...and that is just the GT-R. Infinity G35/37 is still sold as Skyline in Japan though so I can understand that for the rest of the world. Here in the US it would get really confusing.
