  | VW 9.150 ECE Armour Truck  VW 9.150 ECE Armour Truck First released back in February in Brazil, the details of the monstrous VW 9.150 ECE (Especial Chassis Eletronico) armoured vehicle has evaded us until now. Powered by an MWM International 4.12 TCE Euro III which produces 132kW (180hp) and 600Nm torque at 1600 rpm, the 9.159 ECE rides with a reinforced rear suspension, pneumatic brakes and a whole lot of steel armour plating. With a wheelbase of 2,850 mm, the curb weight of 8,500 kg (18,740 lbs.) is distributed with 3,200 kg (7055 lbs.) over the front axel and 5,300 kg (11,685 lbs.) over the rear. Surely capable of withstanding a whole lot of abuse, but how is the fuel economy? [Source: VW via WCF]    More photos here @ WCF...

| Re: VW 9.150 ECE Armour Truck Yes but with only 180hp and 600Nm it will move slower than a turtle, which isn't exactly the best thing when you are in a hot area..  edit: Shots of the rear!
